So the other day I decided (not before time) to break my filesharing cherry and go and download some music. I might have timed it wrong what with the law coming down had on major felons like me, but what the heck. It’s not like I’m going to be going on any major downloading sprees, just the odd track here and there.
So I went-a-search and, with Google’s help, came across Ares Ultimate. Looks good enough, I though, so away I went and downloaded it. The download for Ares Ultimate was easy and installation quick and painless. So far so good.
I was a little suspicious of how long it would take me to figure our this ‘peer-to-peer networking’ thing for me to be able to download. Fortunately two minutes later I discovered that I didn’t need to know anything technical; I still don’t know what peer-to-peer networking is and I’ve no desire to find out. All I do know is that it enabled me to find my favorite ABBA within a few minutes of logging on. Ares Ultimate really is easy to use.
And that’s it, really. There’s nothing more really to say because that’s all I need to say. Ares Ultimate Just Works. It’s a very well presented (the interface is very sexy indeed) piece of software that even a dummy like me can drive.
