Ares Doesn’t Connect? Fixed!
Many people are having issues with Ares not connecting to the Ares network. This can get very frustrating indeed. People are giving up on Ares and making the move to use other – inferior – filesharing clients! This is not the answer! There is a quick and easy solution is to install the latest version of aresvista.
Technical Problem
The problem is a technical one; it is not something that is caused by anything you have done. Rather it is a problem inherent in older versions of Ares caused by a sloppy implementation of SNodes. SNodes, or Super Nodes, and the connections that are made as soon as the program starts up. These initial connections then allow Ares to find other live connections, and from there to find the other computers that have the files that you want to download on them. If these SNodes are not working, or cannot be found, then there is no way for the network to start up properly. Essentially, without working SNodes, Ares becomes useless.
The creators of Ares Vista have encountered this problem before, and they know just how frustrating it can be. One of the reasons behind the development of Ares Vista was then to solve this problem permanently. The good news for us users is that this goal turned out to be successful, and Ares Vista does not suffer the same issue.
Fluid Development
One of the attractions of Ares Vista is exactly changes like this. The developers on this program – unlike with many other commercial and free filesharing clients – are dedicated to moving with the times, fixing things that need fixing, and improving where possible. It is this dedication that makes this particular version of Ares the very top of the filesharing tree.
