Free music downloads with the most popular p2p software

Another student being targeted by the RIAA now. This week, it’s the turn of Purdue University student Andi Fine, who is accused of downloading 568 songs illegally. Fine has been told to pay $3,000 or else face the consequences for her alleged music downloads.

To complicate the matter, Fine is diabetic and is paying her own way through school while struggling with medication costs. With neither the money to pay the initial settlement nor take the matter to court, Fine did nothing and has now been whacked with a demand for $5,100.

Fine is hoping that the music industry will take pity on her and let her pay for the tracks as if she downloaded them legally, for about a buck each. Life ain’t that easy, honey. Don’t hold your breath on that one.

The RIAA takes a hardline approach to illegal music downloads and never backs down for sob stories.
